    Ambitious Futures

The High School program at Incubator prepares students for ambitious futures through rigorous academics, advanced research opportunities, and real-world project development.

    Honors & AP Coursework

    Honors & AP Coursework

Students complete a full college-preparatory curriculum with access to Honors and Advanced Placement (AP) courses, while also having the option to pursue an Honors Research pathway. Students in the honors track participate in Honors Research Labs and complete a major research paper each year, developing the analytical and writing skills expected at the university level.

    Accelerated Study

    Accelerated Study

Because many Incubator students are highly motivated and capable of accelerated study, some choose to complete most or all of their traditional high school coursework by the end of junior year. This creates space during the senior year for deeper interdisciplinary exploration, research initiatives, venture launches, or advanced passion projects.

    Academic Philosophy

    Academic Philosophy

Our academic philosophy blends time-tested scientific and educational methods with progressive approaches designed for the future. Students master traditional disciplines while also developing the ability to think critically, innovate, and apply knowledge across fields.

    Accelerated Pathways

Incubator students may progress as quickly as their mastery allows. Many choose to complete their high school graduation requirements in three years, intentionally reserving a fourth year to focus exclusively on advanced Launch Projects, research, entrepreneurial ventures, artistic portfolios, athletic pursuits, or early college coursework.

    Honors Extensions & Launch Projects

Students may pursue Honors Project Extensions within core classes: advanced research, analytical writing, independent inquiry, and applied problem-solving that deepen academic distinction.

All students engage in our signature Launch Projects, interdisciplinary, real-world initiatives that cultivate leadership, innovation, and entrepreneurial thinking. These projects become defining components of a student's academic portfolio and future applications.

    Flexible Excellence for High-Performing Students

For students seeking both academic strength and scheduling flexibility, (including but not limited to elite athletes, performers, entrepreneurs, and traveling families) Incubator offers adaptable pathways. Students may elect:

    • A traditional AP-intensive trajectory
    • A balanced course load with selective APs
    • An interdisciplinary junior and senior year combining core academics with passion-aligned Launch Projects

This allows students to maintain rigorous UC A–G completion while strategically integrating athletic training, conservatory commitments, entrepreneurship ventures, research portfolios, and interdisciplinary thematic studies.

    Personalized Academic Structure

Courses meeting minimum registration operate as live, synchronous seminars, fostering scholarly dialogue and peer engagement. Courses below minimum enrollment provide a dedicated weekly 1-on-1 faculty mentor session, ensuring individualized instruction, accountability, and intellectual challenge.
