The Elementary School at Incubator is designed to build exceptionally strong academic foundations during the years when learning capacity grows the fastest. Our goal is to equip students with the core skills and intellectual habits that allow them to accelerate confidently into more advanced work in later years.

Kindergarten begins with an intensive literacy foundation. Students learn to read within the first three months of the school year and spend the remainder of the year strengthening fluency, comprehension, and confidence, with the goal of reading short chapter books at a second-grade level before the end of the year.

In Grades 1 and 2, students focus on developing clear handwriting, strong writing habits, and the ability to express ideas through meaningful projects. Students begin generating their own questions, observations, and real-world ideas through guided project work.

From the earliest grades, learning is anchored in Incubator's Four Pillars of Study: Origins, Empires, Frontiers, and Horizons. These pillars form the backbone of our fast-track interdisciplinary learning model. Students journey through the foundations of civilization—from Ancient Greece and Rome, to the Middle Ages, to the era of global exploration and trade, and eventually into the development of the United States and the modern world shaped by science, innovation, and global relations.

By Grade 6, students possess strong academic skills, historical context, and the intellectual curiosity necessary to move confidently into deeper academic exploration.
